This report of election hild in Coate liigah School District, On Feby.
17th. 190.0, on the question of issuing bonds for said Distk(k6f E accordance with provisions
of Chapter 55 oR the Public Laws of 1915 and amendments theret�, having been filed with
this Board at regular meeting on Feby. 17th. 1920, and continued for sonsieration to this
date, coming on to be considered; this Board sitting in the capacity of a canvassing Board
finds the following facts. to -wit:
(1) That the said election was duly called and advertised as provided by law and in
accordance„ with the orders heretofore made by this Board.
(2) T at the said election was in all respects conducted as provided by law.
(3). TRat the total number of qualified voters in said district on date of said election

(4) That of said qualified vo drs i ty ig t cast ballots "For School House Bonds"
(5) That Fifteen(15) cast ballots "Against School House Bonds ".
Therefore, it is considered, adjudged and desolared that the proposed bond issue it
for said district was approved by a majority of the qualified voters thereof.
Whereppon it is ordered.
That the Chairman of the Board execute , upon behalf of the said goats School

Hundred Dollars worth of property and ninety cents upon each taxable poll in said district
is hereby directed.
The said bonds to be in words and figures as follows:

Upon motion of Commissioner, R.T. Johnson, seconded by Commissioner, -P-: a , *the above
resolution was adoptSd; those voting, in the afirmative being, Commissioners, *Johnson, Ray,
Steward and Byrd, those voting in the negative, being, None.
It is futher ordered that the said bonds, when so issued, shall be turned over to
the Board of. Education for Harnett County for the purpose of sale in aoeordarioe with the
provisions of law.

Coate, North Carolina, on the 17th. day of Feby. 1920, for the purpose of suiimitting to the
qualified voters of Coats School District the question of issuing $10000.00 in Bonds to
build a school house at Goats for .said School District, there was Fifty Eight votes east,
"For School.House Bonds" , and fifteen votes oast "against Schoolhouse Bonds" ; that the

on Nov. 12th. 1919, on the question of issuing bonds for said district, in abobrdanoe witli
Provisions of Chapter 55 of P"blie Laws of 1915 and amentments thereto, having been filed
with this Board at a regular meeting on Nov. 12th. 1919 and continued for e6usideration
to this date, coming on to be considered; this Board sitting in the capaoity of a canvassing
Board, finds the following facts,to -wit:
(1) That-the said election was duly called and advertised as provided by law and in
accordance with the orders heretofore made by this Board.
(2) That-the said election was in all respects cond *oted as provided by law.
(3) That -the total Number of qualified voters in said district on date of said election

(4) Tnat of said qualified voters 21 cast ba ;lots, "For School Horse Bonds"
(5) That Ten Cast Ballots, "Against School H use Bonds"
Therefore,it is considered, adjudged and -declared that the propsed bond issue for -said
district was approved by a majority of the qualified voters thereof.
Thereupon it is ordered.
That the Chairman of this Board execute, upon behalf of the said Olivia High School
District, to be attested by the Clerk of this Board and the county Seal affixed thereto,
Bonds to run for a period of Twenty years And in the sum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars, bonds in the sum of each, bearing date of
AND PAYABLE , with interest
coupons attached, bearing interest at six per cent per annum, payable semi- annually,both
principal and interest payable at the 2 T : and the said Bonds
are hereby declared to be a valid lien upon all of the property, situate with in the Olivia
High School District; and-to pay the interest thereon as it may become due, and to provide
as a sinking fund to pay the principal thereof at maturity , a tax levy of thirty cents
upon the One Hundred Dollars wotth of property and ninety cents upon each taxable poll in
said district is hereby directed.
The said Bonds to be in words and figures as follows:

tion was adopted; those voting in the afirmative, being, Commissioners, Johnson,Ray,Stewart

to the Board of Education for Harnett County, for the purpose of sale in accordance with
the provisions of law.
