County Commissioners met in regular session, present J.C.Byrd, Chairman, J.N.Jor-
dan, W J.MsStewart, Jas. A. Buchanan R.T. Johnson, also Chas. Rosa, Atty.

RESOLUTION
Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County;
That no circus, menagerie, wild west show, dog and pony show, carnival show,shall
exhibit within five miles of the public fair grounds of The Harnett County Agricul-
tural Fair Association, Ind., of Dunn,. N.C. which is regularly organized agricultur-
al fair of Harnett County, from its beginning on October 10, 1922, to its ending
on October 131 1922, both sates inclusive.
That notice be given to the sheriff of Harnett County not to issue such license
to said entertainments sixty days prior to the date of such exlilbbition. That a
copy of this resnlution be delivered to J.W.MeArtan,Sheriff of Harnett County 1-
immediately.

A RNSOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMIA[IISSIONRRS PFRTAIITING TO SPECIAL TAX DISTRICTS.
It is ordered by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County, that the treasurers of
township Road Commissions and other public treasurers receiving funds Pram this Board
submit to the County Auditor for presentation to this Board, a quarterly report of re-
ceipts and disbursements-subscribed and sworn to as required by law, the said reports
to be dated February 28th.; ](ay 31st., August 31st., and November 30th., of each year
and to include all transactions for the three months ending with these datos.
Such reports shall show any amount that may have been set aside as a sinking fund
for the retirement of bonds, or other purposes, and if any funds have been loaned or
invested in securoties of any kind, the report shalldeseribe the. deourotios or state
to whom the loan was made and how secured.
The treasurer pt each commission or fund shall keep fully ixxxxKi itemised vouchers
or paid bank clgeoks covering all disbursements, and no money shall be paid out except
upon orders or checks signed bje a majority of the commissioners or upon orders legally
entered in the minute book of the commission.
Such reports shall be delivor*d to the County Auditor on or before the 10th. of the
month following the end of the period which they cover,, and immediately upon receipt
of such report the County Auditor shall make such examinations of said reports as he
may see fit to make of as this Board may direct, and submit the report with written com-
mont thereon to the,next meeting of this Board.
Upon demand of the County *pditor such treasurers shall promptly pasubmit to him at
his office in the Courthouse fior such audit and examination all paid vouchers, pai4 -bank
checks, bank statements, books of account, minute books, and other papers having to do •tb
with the receipt or payment of moneys of the commission and after such audit and exam -
inatiom all such bookla ani papers shall be promptly returned to the treasurer presenting
them.
The County Auditor shall also be permitted to examine at any time any moneys on hand
-or in bank seeureties or negotiable instruments evi4ocing the investment of funds zgxk
huffs[ xt= 7dsrAx1xxxxJd&Jn,xAksxAi=xpxzzx belonging to the commission.
Upon failure to file the report as herein called for within the time prescribed,the
County Auditor shall so noticy this Board at itsmedting, ari such failure to report will
be considered good cause for the immediate removal from office of the treasurer, commis-
sioner or commission so failing to report.
