March 23rd. 1931.
The Board of County Commissioners met in Gall session with *ommission-
era, Chairman J.W. Half©rd,E.L. dooke, J.B. Ennis, x� s and J.H. Wil-
liams and H.M. O'Quinn, present. Also I.R. Williams, :onty Attorney.

In joint session with the Road Board the question of ,Repairing the Erwin
Bridge over Cape Fear Liver was discussed.
It was mo ed by H.M. O'45ui4n and seconded by J.B. 'Ennis that the Board
of Road Somnissioners be instructed to make contract with T.A. Loving and
in regardto re- building Erwin bridge according to proposal presented to
Board by said T.A. Loving and So.
It was moved by J.H. Williams and seconded by J.B. Ennis that the matter
of burial of pauparsbe referred to Chairman J.W. Halr'ord or in his absence
to E.L. Cooke, Vice- chairman
It was ordered that former order of the Board to sell mule
rescinded and that no action along this line be taken unti
of the Board
It was ordered that J.B. Ennis and I.R. Williams be appointed a 8ommittee
investigate the boundary lines between Wake and Harnett and Johnston and
Harnett Gjounties and report to neat regular meeting of the Board.
It was orddered jthat the application of I. J. Stanfield for paper aid be
referred to Miss Negates for investigation.
It was moved by I.L. ''ooke and seconded by J.B. Ennis that the 10% commis
allowed J.0. West for ^collection of back taxes be discontinued. Upon note
this motion was unanimously adopted by a vote of the Board.
It was ordered that Chairman,.J.W' Belford be authorized to make contract
for the erection of a toilet for the Jailor's family, to be erected adjacent
to the County Jail.
