Attorney, the meeting was called to order by Chairman Morgan. It is ordered tnat the board rescind the order of a former meeting passed, Galling an election for the purpose of voting School bonds for Agnier School District No. 34. Moved by 0. H. of $3000.00 be made buildings in Angier Against, Loudermilk Pope, Seconded by Stuart Turlington, that an appropriation for the purpose of erecting & furnishing temporary school: , N.C. School District No 34. voting for Pope & Turlington, , Refused to vote: Rosser. Moved by W. C. Loudermilk, seconded Action on the Agnier School matter until when the board will meet again. Voting Pope & Turlington, Chairman Morgan voted by T. R. Rosser, that the board defe the first monday in January, 1939, for: Rosser & Loudermilk, Against: in the affirmative. Senter $75.00 for use of team used on County farm for the year of 1929. RELEASE OF TAXES, It is ordered 'J hat the taxes for 1927 in Black River township, now owned by N. A. Matthews be released of said taxes for said year, it appearing to board that this release was ordered to be made by the former board of Commissioners and t:: -at J. 0. West,County Atty. take the necessary action to collect the said tax out of A. A. McDonald, as it appears that said tax was paid to him as comm. It is ordered that the Board of Education be permitted to switch a teac from Maynors Colored school to Sand Hill colored School. STATE OF NORTH CAROLIdA, COUNTY OF HARNETT, Lillington, N.C. January 6th, 1930, The Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County, North Carolina, met in regular session at the Court House in the Town of Lillington, North Garonne, on the 6th day of January, 1930, the following members being present: r r Wm. Pope, Clerk, 130 ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY; COMMISSIONERS OF HARNETT COUNTY 1, That an emergency having arisen in the Angier School District of Harnett County, that bonds of Harnett County shall be issued for the purpose pi purchasing the necessary land and erecting the necessary building and equipping same to carry on at least a six months school term in said school District of Harnett County, same being a part of the uniform State system of pu lie schools required by the Constitution, to the aggregate principal amopnt of $35,000.00., 2. That a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest of the bonds w due shall be annually levied and collected, 3. That a statement of the County debt has been filed with the Clerk and i open to public inspection, 1f. That this order shall take effect upon its passage, and shall not be submitted to tine' voters. On motion of" Mr .Stuart Turlington., seconded by Mr. T. R. Rosser, the foregoing order was introduced by the following Boll -call vote, to -wit; Commissionerw voting in favor of said order: Wrn. BE IT RESOLVED that the Clerk to this board is hereby authorized and direc ed to pulish the foregoing order as required by law, and that the 3rd day of February, 1930, at 10 :00 o'clock A. M. is hereby fixed as the day and hour for hearing protests against the issuance of $35,000.00 school Building Bonds pursu to the bond order introduced January 6th, 1930, On Motion of Mr. Stuart Turlington, seconded by Mr. T.
