A. Buchanan, Chairman; J.A. Hockaday, B.P. Ingram, L.R. Byrd and Z.P. Snipes, also Z.R. Williams, County Attorney. ,,:inutes of last meeting read and approved. It is ordered that the sum of $WQ,.OQ... be paid to Stranahan, Harris & Oati� in full for services, and that the said sum be paid from the proceeds of said bond issue. The committee ordered to make investigation of the solvent credits not listed, having made a temporary report, it is ordered that the investigation be continued and that a full and final report be filed on first Monday in Sept. 1928. It, is ordered that N.w. Gregory, be authorized to pay the proportional part of the tax due on the John McRae estate in Anderson Creek township representei by his interest of 175 acres out of a total of 600 acres, and that the 175 acres be then relieved of any liability for taxes on remainder of tract. REPORTS: It.is ordered that report from C.S.C. be accepted and filed, and that checks for y137.30 and y239.25 be turned over to County Auditor. It is ordered that report from Lrs. Lewis, Supt. Welfare, be accepted and fi, It is ordered that report from T.R. Brown, Supt. of County Home, be accepted and filed. It is ordered that report from Supt. of Convict Camp be accepted and filed. RELIEF OF TAXES: It.is ordered that J.C. Senter of Hector's Creek township be relieved of takes on 1,603.00 valuation, for timber sold. It.is ordered that J.W. Senter of Hector's Creek township.be relieved of takes on X800.00 valuation for timber sold. It' is ordered that J.L. Hodges of Stewart's Creek township be relieved of taxes on y1000.00 valuation for timber sold. It.is ordered that Layton Upchurch of Neill's Creek township be relieved of 03,00 dog tax.
