All members of Board present with county attorney. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. it is ordered that the school board of Dunn District ir21 be requested to pay Mss. Lillie Hodges the sum of 046.34, paid to said Board through listing her land in said district when in fact. her lands are situated in school district 024. It is ordered that no bill be paid for capturing man with still unless the name of clan is given. It is ordered that all office holders pay premiums on bonds given. It is ordered that ,L).C. Hamilton and N.C. Senter lands be valued equally by the auditor by adding valuation of the two said tracts and dividing this amount by two. It is ordered that Jas. A. Buchanan be re- appointed chairman of Board of Count- Commissioners for ensuing term. It is ordered that I.R. Williams be re- appointed County Attorney for said a)oard for ensuing term. It is ordered that S.B. Caviness be re- elected Supt. for county convict camp. It is ordered that Z.V. Snipes and E.P. Ingram be named as a committee to look after County Rome and Convict Camp. It is ordered that S.G. Lanier of Fuquay, id for idorthington Terry for the year 1927. It is ordered that A.H. Harper be appointed .C. R.F.D. Constable , be appointed ferryman fors Erwin, N.C. It is ordered that Sheriff Lyle 1,1atthews be empowered to name two rural men to assist him in county, salary not to be over 0125.00 each per month. It is ordered that 0.P. Shell be appointed vice - recorder of county Recorder's Court. It is ordered that Board of iLducation was authorized to purchase an additional school site for Lillinton High School at a price not to excedd 02500.00. PAUPER: It is ordered that Jane .,arshburn be allowed 415.00 per month, and this amount to be paid to Lee ade. It is ordered that McLougald be allowed 415.00 as Sanatorium Fund. it is ordered that Sarah -*ainey be allowed 410.00 per month as pauper allowance. RESIGNATION: It is ordered that the resignation of L.R. Byrd, Seely & Treas of Stewart's Creek Road Commission, be accepted and filed, and Farquard Smith be appointed in his place. It is ordered by unanimous vote of all members of Board that the County Home for infirm and poor be moved from its present site to the tract urchased by county commissioners, which is situated on the north side of Route -60, 22 miles Vlest of Lillington. 136 REPORTS: It is ordered that checks for 4134.00 It is ordered that accepted and filed be paid. report from C.S.C. be accepted and filed, and that and 4261.25 be turned over to county auditor. report from J.P. Parker, Supt. of County Home, be and that bills attached to .the amount of 4170.65 It is ordered that report from S.B. At a regular meeting of the board of "ommissioners of Harnett County, held at the Courthouse in Lillington, North Carolina, on the 6th day of December, 1926, at which the following members were present: 14ames A. Buchanan, Chm. B. P. Ingram, J. A. Hockaday, Z. V. Snipes and Byrd, and the following absent: none. The following, among other proceeding were had: The following preambles an resolutions were introduced and adopted: Whereas the road commission of Harnett County has recommended the construction of the following roads and bridges in the said county of Harnett, to -wit: Road leading from - illinrton to Cumberland county line known as Anderson Creek Road and designated _roject p 3, Harnett County, also for the construction of bridges and culverts on said road. And Whereas the said roads and brid':esa aee, in the judgment of this board, hereby found to be enelie necessities. Now, therefore, be it resolved that for the purlose of constructing the said roads &en bridges_ bonds of the county be issued in the aggri- gate principal sum of t00,000.00, pursuant to chapter 293 of the public Local Laws of 1925.
