A. Buchanan; Chairman, J, G. Layton, Bp P. Ingram, Z. V, Snipes J. W. Hockaday, Mamie L. Sexton, Ex- Officio Clerk Resolved that parsuant',to an Act entitled, "An Aot relating to county notes in anticipation of the collection of certain school and other taxes', retified December 19th, 1921, Notes of the County to the - aggregate principal amount of Ten ousand,Bollars ($10,000.00) be issued in anticipatio of the collection of taxes for the expenses of the Ct.nty for which the County lawfully livied or will levy taxes/ The amount of the said notes, together with any other notes issued for the same purpose during the fiscal yeat, will not exceed 75 per cent of the amount of the tax&a livded for the said purpose for the preceeding fiscal year, The said notes shall be dated September 7th, 1926,, and shall be payable December 7ty, 1926, shah, bear interest at the rate of Rive Per Cent ($) per annum, payabbe at the maturity of said notes, shall be in the denomin tion of $5.00 each, shall be numbered one and two (1 and 2), and both prinoipa and interest shall be payble at the CHASE NATIONAL BANK, in the City and State of New York.
