The County Attorney, H.C.Strickland, was also present. It is ordered that J.T.Olive be re- admitted to County Home. It is ordered that Joe. Barnes be re- admitted to the County Home. It is ordered that the house and lot of James and John Snipes (Z.V.Snipes) in the town of Dunn be valued at $2500.00 for the year 1936. Ise 455 RESOLUTION: On Motion duly made and carried, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County, that the 100 acres of land in Barbecue Township, Harnett County, listed in the name of James A.Cameron 80 acres and Burnice Thomas 50 acres, and particularly described in Mortgage Deed by Burniee Thomas and wife Mary C.Thomas,.to Federal Land Bank of Columbia, recorded in Book 190, page 30, of Registry of Harnett County, be released and relieved and discharged of all Ham ett County taxes for the years 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935 and 1936 and prior years upon payment of the sum of $480.39, if paid within the month of March, 1937. It appearing to the Board that a lot of William Morgan in Angier, on North side of Depot Street before the purchase by him of same was valued for taxation at $500. and that improvements thereon were made since April 1, 1936, it is ordered that the valuation of said lot for 1936 taxation purposes be reduced to $500.00 , subject to approval of the Auditor. It is ordered that report of the Tax Collector be accepted and filed. It is ordered that the following road petitions be approved and forwarded to the State Highway and Public Works Commission: (1) that certain road in Upper Little River Twonship beginning at B.A.Byrd's home and runs to Lee County line , covering a distance of about 2i miles. This is a school bus line. (2) that certain road in Upper Little River Township No. 2, known as the Holder and Harrinfon road, a distance of about 2i miles used as a school bus sod mail route. (3) beginning at a point leading from Dunn by way ov Fair Grounds to Raleigh at the E.B.Bridgers' place, which place is now owned by John Miller and runs along an old road in an eastern direction, across the lands of John Miller, W.P.Iteaves, Mrs. G.T.Pleasant, Claude Young and others to Highway No. 22. 4) that road from W.L.Senter farm on Highway No. 15A to Duncan by way of iltian Light and Cokesbury be improved by State Highway and Public Works Com.
