The Beard of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following
members present: J,B. Ginnie, Chairman, Geo, T. Neel and E.L, (eooke.. Absent
J.S. Barker and A.A. Cameron. I.R.i.11iams, County *Attorney also present.
It is ordered that the request of the Town of Munn requesting that the County
dedicate the old Munn High School site to the General Public be deferred until
action .. is taken by the Board of Education.
It is ordered that the report of W.D. Harrington, Tax Collector, be accepted
and filed.
It is ordered that the report of the Grand Jury be accepted and filed.
It is ordered that report of W.D. Reynoids, Assistant County Farm Agent, as to
terracing work be accepted and filed.

It is ordered that Y.H. Altman be granted the privilege of purohas& /Beer
License in Angier, N.C. for the period ending May 1st. 1936,
RESOLUTE ON:
It is ordered by the Board of 4ounty Commissioners of Harnett county, that
the 3ounty of Harnett sell and convey its interest in and to a certain tract of 1
land in Upper Little Fiver Township, Harnett County, containing 30nacres, more
or less, and being the land conveyed to Lula Cotton by K.R. Hoyle by deed recordei
in.Book 206, page 595, Registry of Harnett Bounty. to Ned (E.A.) McLeod for the
sum of $75.00 and that the Chairman of the Board of County gommissionsrs and the
Clerk of the Board of said Commissioners execute and deliver the deed for the sam
to.eaid purchaser upon payment of said purchase price of $75.00; and further that
upon payment of said $75,00, the taxes against said 30 acres be discharged and
released for the years 1935 and all prior years, and auditor and Tax Collector
are authorized and directed to mark said tax receipts and tax sale certificates
and judgments for said taxes paid and satisfied by the conveyance of said land
to said purchaser upon payment of said purchase price.

RESOLUTION: -
Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett Gotnety in
regular Session Mornay, February 3rd. 1936, that the tax value for the ear 1935
on that certain lot located on eolith Olin-tan Avenue in the Town of Dunn,Granting
80 ,feet on the East side of said Avenue and running back 140 feet, adjoining the
lots described in mortgage or deed of ,trust made by V.H. Massengill and wife,
Wilma Massengill to North Carolina Veterans Bureau, listed in the name of Elvira
Massengill be fixed at 435 0.00 and the auditor of Harnett County is hereby
authorized and directed to adjust said value and the Val.ne of other property
listed by Evira Massengill on proporationate basis for years prior to the year

RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, so many complaints about tax valuations have come from the Town-
ship of Averasboro, and especially within the corporate limits of the Town of
Cann:
AND WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Lunn has expressed a
desire to render such assistance and advice as it can to the Board of Commissioners
of the County of Harnett concerning the said tax complaints:
ANL WHEREAS? The Board of Commissioners of Harnett County is anxious to
accept the advice and assistance offered by the Board of Commissioners of the
Town of Dunn concerning these tax matters;
NOW *THLREFORE, Be it resolved that the Board of Commissioners of the Town of
Dunn be and it is hereby requested by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County
to have the Mayor of the Town of leint2 appoint two of its Commissioners as a stand
ing Committee, which will join with the Committees to be appointed by the Chairma.

Board of C ommissioners of Harnett county.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Board of
Commissioners of the Town of Ixinn.

case pf State VS Garfield Bailey, No. 567;
And it is further ordered that the fees of the officers and J.P. fees and
such Witnesses as were ordered to be paid by the Judge Presiding be and the same
are hereby approved in the ease of State VS W.W. Eason, which is No. 569;
It is further ordered that, inasmuch, as so many witnesses have proved witness
tickets in the said case that this bill of costs be referred to the Solicitor of t
the District for his audit and approval, and when approved by him to be returned
to the board of Commissioners.
RESOLUTION:
RESOLVED: THAT WHEREAS7:The First Citizens Bank and Trust ‘6 mpany, Dunn, N.C. has
deposited with the Wechovia Bank and Trust Company, Raleigh, N.C. as a part of its
bond securing the kunds of Harnett County two Harnett county Gold Bomda of
41000.00 in denomination, 5% issue, dated Jan. 1, 1926, due Jan. 1, 1936;
AND WHEREAS, said bonds are past due and payable and the First Citizens Bank
and Trust Company is entitled to have the said bonds released to them;
It is hereby ordered that the Waehovia Bank and Trust Company deliver to
Forwt Citizens Bank and Trust Company the two above mentioned bonds in exchange
for Two Harnett County School Funding Bonds, 41000.00 denomination, 4.0 issue,
dated 'June 15, 1928, due Jtne 15, 1941.

Barker, who is confined to his horns suffering from injuries received in an
