May 7th. 1934.
The Bard of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following
members present: J.B.Ennis, Chairman; H.M.O'Quinn; E.L.Cooke; J.S.Barker and
J.D.Byrd. Also, I.R.Williams, County Attorney.
It is ordered that report of L.M.Chaffin, C.S.C. be accepted and filed and
two check:; in amounts of $129.50 and $62.75 be delivered to the Auditor for
distribut ±enn.
It is ordered that report of Dr. A.W.Peede, County Health Officer, be accepted
and filed.
It is ordered that no change be made in the pietas of the policy of this Board
in approv:Lng Insurance pplicies covering County property.
It is ordered that report of Mrs. T.R.Brown, Supt, County Home, be accepted
and filed.
It is ordered that report of Geo. L.Cannaday, Tax Collector, be accepted and
filed.
It is ordered that report of Geo. L.Cannaday, Collector of Privilege Tax, be
acoepted and filed.
It is ordered that the County Auditor and County Attorney investigate the
listing of 111 acres of land of Spenoe & Cozart in Hectors Creek Twp, and if found
to be double listed, refund the amount of taxes paid on account of error,it any,
in listing.

RESOLUTION:
BE -IT RESOLVED that the deed heretofore made by J.O.West, Commissioner, to the
County ,pf Harnett, dated November 9, 1931, now in the Judgment Roll (A- 303', Judg-
ment No. 2E789, office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Harnett County, be
recorded at County expense; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that after the said deed shall have been recorded, the
Chairman of the Board of Commissioners do execute in behalf of the bounty of Harnett
and the Clerk to the Board attest the same as provided by law, a deed conveying
23.75 acres of land, more or less, in Grove Township,Harnett County, North Carolina
lister in the year 1928 and later in the name of Willis 1. Gregory for taxation,as
s
described in the proceeding had in an action No.'A -303, Judgment No. 22789; and
the said deed be prepared at the expense of the County and at its expense probated
and recorded, to the end that title to said land may be vested in Willis A.Gregoryx
of record.
