RESOLUTION: We, the Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County in regular session, recognizing the need and value of crop acreage information in this County, as pro- vided for in Chapter 201, Public Laws of 1921, do hereby instruct all officials of this County connected with the listing 2 agricultural statistics to carry out as efficiently as possible the requirements of said Chapter. That a certified copy of this resolution be sent to the Commissioner of Agri- culture after adoption, and that all county tax - listing officials be advised of our action. Daniel Byrd RESOLUTION: WHEREAs, on the 23rd. da'f of December, 1924, J.C.Clifford and wife executed and delivered to Julian Price, Ti,ustee, a certain deed of trust which is duly recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Harnett County in Book 212, page 377, which said deed of trust conveyed the following described lot of land in the Town afunn, N.C. viz: Beginning in the North line of Broad Street at a point 70 feet East from the Eastern line of McKay Avenue, and running thence Northwardly parallel with McKay Avenue 150 feet;thence Eastwardly parallel with Broad Street 80 feet; thence South- wardly parallel with McKay Avenue to the North line of Broad Street; thence with 207 said line of Broad Street 80 feet to the beginning,00nteining a lot 80 by 150 feet. And whereas, the said deed of trust has been foreclosed and the property pur chased& by the Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company: And whereas the Trustee in the said deed of trust is anxious to pay the taxes assessed and due against the said property, but that he is unable to do so for that the said property is listed together with other property and in order to pay the taxes it is necessary to segregate the above described lot from other lands list for taxation for the said J.C.Clifford; and Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners Bind as a fact that the taable assessed valuation of the above described lot is $4250.00 and was such for the years 1931, 1932and 1933: NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED By the Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County in regular sansian assembled on Monday, February 5th. 1934: 1. That the iuditor of Harnett County be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to compute all unpaid taxes against the above described lot upon a val- uation thereof of $4250.00 and to accept from the said Julian Price, Trustee, or any other person for and on his behalf, or on behalf of the purchaser of the said property at the said sale, the amount of taxes due against said property based upon said valuation; and 2. Upon the payment of the said taxes the said Auditor of Harnett County and/ or Tax Collector of Harnett County is hereby authorized and directed to issue due and proper receipts for the said taxes, and thereupon the said property shall be released from any and all lien or liens for taxes and/ or assessments in favor of the County of Harnett.
