RESOLUTION:
Be it resolved that the Auditor, J.S. McLean, is hereby directed by the
Board of Commissioners of Harnett County to release that oerfain tract of land
in Lverasboro Township which is described in Special Proceedings #2419, from tax
the years 1930, 1931 and 1902, upon the payment by Hi Paul Strickland of the tax
based upon the difference in valuation as listed for the years mentioned above
less the valuation of the dower as set out in the petition filed herein.

RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, E.M. Currin has applied to this Board for permission to pay
the 1931 and 1932 taxes on two tracts of land described do a deed of Trust
Currin and wife £vie L. Uurrin to J.S. Manning,Sr., Trustee, dated 21st.
day of February, 1933, and recorded in Book 248, page 133 of the pffice of
Register of Deeds for Harnett County; and
WHEREAS, this Board finds as a fact that the assessed valuation of the
287 acre tract and the 55 acre tract for the said two years was $20,175, and tha
the total taxes for said two years against the said lands, including the penalty
is $669.78:
It is, thereppon, ordered that the said two tracts of land be released
from the taxes assessed against the same for the years 1931 and 1932 upon the

taxes prior to 1928 taxes and whereas the County of Harnett has advanced
Court Costs and land sales costs in the sum of 3Q,000.0p;
And whereas there has accumulated interest, and penalties on all
uncollected taxes the sum of *33,000.00,
Now therefore be it resolved that this Board o Commissioners
respectfully petition Hon. J. nit. Young, Representative, f to exempt Harnett
County from any pending bills remitting any taxes or penalties, interests
and .costs.
