NOVE BEF. 15TH. 1932.
The Board of County Commissioners met in adjourned session with the following
members present: Dr. J.W. Halford, Chairman, L.L. Cooke, H.M. O'Quinn and J.H.
Williams. Abesent: J.B. Ennis. I.E.Nilliams, County Attorney also present.
It is ordered that the Board of Education be requested to distribute what funds
they have on hand t the various Insurance Agencies having premiums due them
pro rated according to the emnnt due by each agent and that the County auditor
make payment on these premiums as fast as funds are available for that purpose.
It is ordered that 0171.93 be credited on the 1929 taxes due by Eliza Pope
on her dwelling and S.E. Pope dwelling and that this amount be charged to Geo.
L. Cannaday, Tex Collector and that this .,roperty be discharged from any lien hel
by the County for 1929 taxes on same.
RESOLUTION: WHEREAS it appears and that Board finds as a fact that there was an
error of 0440.00 made in the valuation of the real estate of Mrs. I;izzie A.
Dupree, Grove _'ownship, the Auditor is hereby ordered to correct the same and lis
the propert; for the years 1831 end 1932 et 0650.00.
It is ordered that former order of the Board authorixing J.S. McLean, County
Auditor, to correct any error found in the Geo. E. McLean land in Lillington
Township be rescinded.

IT IS ORDERED that the report of H.C.Strickland showing his activities as Hudgs
of the Redorders Csurt for the pest two years be eccepyed and ordered filed and
that the Board extend to Ir. Strickland its sincere thanks for the efficient
manner in which he hes conducted the affairs of his office and for the Report
furnished the Board.
It is ordered that Geo. 14 Cannaday, Tax Collector, continue sale of W.H.
Gilbert's property until Dec. 1st. 1932.
Jail RESOLUTION: RESOLVED that after December 5, 1932 that the County of Harnett
in li u of paying the jailer for the board of prisoners confined in the common jail of
Harnett County, furnish the pris ners so confined with the food provided by
Section 3919, Consolidated Statutes of North Carolina and the amendments thereto
and that the said jailer be paid the fees and salary provided by law as full com-
pensation for his services as jailer.
