The Complaint of Jpshua Beasley of 4verasboro Twp. was heard and it was
decided that no change could be made in the valuation of his property.
The @omplaint of R.T. Johnson, Hectors Creek property, being heard it was ordered
that'no change be made in the valuation of this property.
The complaint of J.A. Buie of Barcecue Township being heard it was ordered that
no change be made In the valuation of his property.
The complaint of D.H. Senter, Hectors Creek property, being heard it was ordered
that no change be made in the valuation of his property.
The complaint of J.E' Strickland of Averasboro Township being heard and it appear-
ing that he suffered a 42200.00 loss by fire it is therefore ordered that hid
property be reduced from $3580.00 to ASUAgx 41380.00.
The complaint of E.P. Davis of xverasboro Twp. being heard it was ordered that
Mr/ J.B. Ennis and E.L. Cook investigate any irregularities as to the valuation
of this property.
After hearing the complaint of A.H. Wilbon it was ordered that no change be made
in the valuation of his property. Property in 4verasboro Township.
After hearing the complaint of W.M. Tart of ?iverasbero Twp. it was ordered that
no change be made in the valuation of his property.
It was ordeted that Mr. Cooke and Mr. Ennis investigate the valuation of the
J.W. '°hitehead property in "unn.
It was ordered that Messers Cooke and Eknnis investigate the valuation of the G.L.
Cannaday property on N. R.R. "treet. Claims fire loss.
It was ordered that Chairman Halford and County Attorney, I.R. Williams investigat
the valuation of D.H. Senter's property in Buckhorn Township.
The complaint of M.R. ?urles of Grove Township being heard that it is ordered that
J.B. Ennis be requested to investigate the valuation of this property and report
to the ':Board.
The complaint of Mr. J.S. Barker claiming fire loss was referred to the Assessors
of Hectors Creek and requested to report to the next meeting of the Board.
It was ordered that the property of Wmf and J.D. Pearson of Hectors Creek Town-
ship be reduced from $11370.00 to 410370.00 on account of loss by fire.
It was ordered that the pprpperty of Z.B. Tew in Stewarts Creek Township be
reduced from 45500.00 to $4210.00 on account of ttsaxhyxttxhx error in listing.

The complaint of W.J. Norris of Hectors Creek xt rnax being heard it was ordered
that no change be made in its valuation.
It was ordered that H.M. O'Quinn investigate the valuation of N.A. Mason property
in MI,. Twp. and report to Board.
The complaint of H.W• Whittenton being heard it was ordered that change could be
made in the valuation.''
After having heard the complaint of sirs. C.C. Surles of .ve. Twp. it was ordered
that no change be made in the valuation of her property.
The complaint of L.B' 1tkins was heard and it was ordered that no change be made
in the valuation of his property.
The complaint of Mrs. 0.11' Turlington having been heard it was ordered that no
change be made in the valuation of her property.
It was ordered that no change be made in the valuation of the property og E.H.
Jernigan of Ave. Township.
It was ordered that no change be made in the valuation of the property of J.W
Davis of Ave. Township.

The complaint of A.R. Suggs as to his property in Lillington Twp. was heard and
it was ordered that no change be made in its valuation.
The- complaint of A.R. Suggs as to his property in Anderson Creek Twp. was heard
And it was ordered that no change be made in its valuation.
The complaint of A.R. Suggs as to his property in Buekhorrr Twp. was heard and
it was ordered that no change be made in its valuation.
The- complaint of Chas. Roes, Agent for Mrs. MAY. McKay Estate was heard and it
appearing to the Board that an error had been made in the listing of this property
it was therefore ordered that the valuation of said property be reduced on the
tax-book H18870.00 to 0_3170.00.
It was ordered that the valuation of the property of O.S. Atkins in Lillington
Township, known as the Flat Woods property be reaised from 42200.00 to $4930.00
in order to compare it with surrounding property.
After having heard the complaint of M.B. 0/Quinn of U.L. R. Twp. it was ordered
that no change be made in the valuation of his property.
RESOLVED that the first lot described in that deed from Clarence J. Smith and wife
to J.W. Purdie and E.W. Smith, Trustees of First Presbyterian Ghnanh of Dann be
valued as follows: House; 4660.00: Lot whioh is 150 feet on orange and runs back
along Edgerton 300 feet 41100.00; that the second lot described in said deed be
valued at $200.00.
RESOLVED FURTHER that Auditor change listing of above property from N.A.
Townsend, former owner, to First Presbyterian Church of Dunn, N.C.
The Board of Equalization then adjourned sine die.

The•Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County met in call session with the
folloiing members present: J.W. Halford, Chairman, J.B. Ennls,J.H. Iilliams,Jr.
and• H.M. 0' duinn.
It was ordered that the Country Auditor be instructed to purchase seed wheat
sufficient to plant 12 acres of wheat on the County Farm.
It was ordered that petition for road in Grove Twp. connecting with Johnston County
be approved and the State.Highway Oommission be requested to take action on this
project at once.
It was then ordered that the Board adjourn Sine Die.
