Also present was H.C.Strickland, County Attorney, and the Clerk to the Board. It is ordered by ghe Board to increase the Salary of the Court Stenographer $5.00 per week beginning the first week in April,1943. The Board ordered that H.F.Tilley,Black River Twp be granted free pedlers license on account of physical disability. It is ordered that J.W.Wall, of Hector's Creek Township, be granted free peddler's license for the year 1942 -1943 on account of physical disability. It is ordered that Mack Frontish, Col., Erwin,Duke Twp. be released of $2.24 poll tax for year 1942, on account of physical disability. The monthly report of Howard Godwin,C.S.C. was approved and ordered filed. The monthly report of Inez Harrington, Register of Deeds was approved and ordered filed. The monthly report of Miss Lola O'Quinn was approved and ordered filed. The Board ordered that County offices be closed on Monday, April 26th for Easter Holidays.
