(2) That certain road in Buckhorn Township reaching from Tyree Dewarson
Nor there ferry road to Paul Lanier's residence, a distance of approximately 2 miles.
(3) That certain road reaching from McLamb's road at J. P. McLamb's residence
to the Wire Road at Hannah Ferguson's residence.
(4) That certain road beginning at Theodore McLamb's home, running south -east
across the old Yadkin Road and ending at the old Wire road, somewhere near Johnnie
Walker's home, a distance of about 22 miles.
The Board finding that time will not permit the transacting of all business befor
it, the Board recessed to reconvene and continue the dispatch of its business upon
call of the Chairman, of which due notice will be given.
NOVEMBER 19, 1947
The Board of Commissioners met in a call session on Wednesday November 19,
1947 at 10:00 o'clock A M with all members present. Also present were.the'County
Atty. and the Clerk to Board.
It is ordered that K. C. Matthews, jailer be allowed additional salary of
60.00 per month beginning Nov. lst.,1947.
Mr. E. C. Byrd tendered his resignation as Superintendant of the Harnett
- County Home to be effective the first Monday in December, 1947.
The members of the Board accepted the resignation and
