Minutes Continuation of Meeting/of July 7, 1947 Monday July 28, 1947 BE IT RESOLVED by the "oard of Commissioners of "arnett County, pursuant to Chapter 1015 of the Public Laws of North Carolina, 1947 Session (H B 754) that effective July 1, 1947, the paytof all jurors and grand jurors in the Superior Court of Harnett County be and the same is hereby fixed at $5. per day; and that travel allowance of 5 ¢ per mile while coming to the County Seat and return, on the basis of one round trip per calendar week for each calendar week in which attendance may be required, be paid saidjurors and grand jurors for their services.
