10:00 A M with all members present/ Also County Attorney and the Clerk Of the Board.
It is ordered that penalty in amount of #10.80 be released to Carlyle Core,
Averasboro Township, for late listing in Ave. Twp for year 1945 on account of illness
it listing time.
The following Beer License were issued to:
Edward Eugene Perry, Bunnlevel, N C #1 at t'errytsService Station.
The monthly report of W D Harrington, Tax Collector was approved and ordered
filed.
The monthly report of Inez Harrington, Register of Deeds, wad approved and
ordered filed.
The montyly report of Howard Godwin C S C was approved and ordered filed.
Be it resolved that the property acquired by Harnett County in the Town of Dunn
at a Tax Foreclosure sale under Judgment No A -817 acid described as follows:
Being two lots designated as Nos 8 and 9 and shown by map No 1 page 48, Registry
of Harnett County formerly owned by Mrs. Ellen Barefoot, be sold to Harry King,
Dun-, N C for the sum of #300 cash. The Chairman of the Board is authorized to execute
deed to tarry King and the Clerk to the Board will attest same/
Be it resolved that that property acquired by i`arnett County -in the Town of
Dunn at a Tax Foreclosure Sale under-'Judgment No A -1455 and described as follows:
That lot or parcel of land in Averasboro Township on South McKay Avenue in the Town
of Dunn conveyed to Eddie Williams and recorded in Book 209, page 138 Registry of
Harnett County, be sold to C J Hanna for the sum of #350.00 cash. The Chairman
of the Board is authorized to execute deed to C J Hanna and the Clerk to the Board
will attest same.
It 1s ordered that the lot of land in Averasboro Township, listed to Frank Johnson
W J Hodges andothers described in Judgment No A -1017 be quitclaimed to Robert Draughon
upon receipt by the County of #95.06 representing the lien of all taxes due Harnett
County and that the value of the lot be fixed at #130, for purposes of Taxation.
And ubon receipt of said sum, the chairman of the Board of Commissioners will execute
deed on behalf of the County, and The Clerk will affix corporate seal and attest the
same.
Upon the resignation of T L Ray as County Forest Warden, the Board recommended
the appointment of J D Brown, Mamers, to fill out the unexpired teas.
The Board approved the payment of #200.00 out of the Budget to Dept of Conser-
vation and Development, Raleigh, N C to be a part of payment on a truck for the
Dept and a balance of 6150.00 to be paid from 1947 -48 budget.

It is ordered that the M 0 Lee Commissioner in S D No 2338 and Judgment No A -1346
be and he is hereby directed to make conveyance of the said property to the purchaser
at said sale and the price bid to -wit $14.00.
It is further ordered that the said 50 acres be after listed for the years 1940
1941- 1942 -1943- 1944 -1945 and 1946 at the tax value of $.400.00 said land being cut over
timber land, half and Waste half.
