It is ordered that narvey Deal, of Black River Township be granted free
peddler's lecense for the year 1945.
The following road petition was approved and ordered forwarded tothe State
highway and public works commissions
for action on a small short road about ohe mile in lenght reaching form a point
on pavement near Howard Height house and the Baptist Church and running thence East
and then North to a point on the Coats -Buies Creek highway between the house of H. H.
Kivett and L. E. Chenault.
Be it resolved that the property formally listed R. Cameron, and acquired by
Harnett County at a tax foreclosure sale under judgement number SD#2339 -A- 1357,
and being 50 acres in Barbecue Twp. be sold to J. M. Canoy, Lillington, N. C. for
the sum of $150.00 cash with this offer, and the Chairman of the Board of
Commissioners is hereby authorized to execute deed to J, M. Canoy and the Clerk
to the Board will attest same.
Be it resolved that the property formally listed to R. Cameron and brother

and acquired by Harnett County at a tax foreclosure sale under judgement No.
SD#2354 -A -1359. and being 44 acres in Johnsonville Twp be sold to J, M. Canoy,
Vllingotn, N, C. for the sum of 1100.00 cash with this offer, and the Chmn. of the
Board of Commissioners os hereby authorized to execute deed to J. M. Canoy and the
Clerk to the board will attest same.
The Board recessed to reconvene at call of Chmn.
