The Board of County Commissioners met in a call session on Monday, November
24th. 1952 at 10;00 A M with L. A. Tart, Chairman, R. L. Pate, Worth Lee Byrd,
H. S. Holloway and B. P. Ingram present. Also present were W. A. Johnson, County
Attorney and the Clerk to the Board.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board voted unanimously to lease the
Harnett County Home to Mr. and -Mrs. John j. Mason subject to the approval of
the State Board of Welfare, upon the terms and conditions of that certain lease
agreement which is dated November 24th. 1952.
Upon - motion duly made and seconded, the appointment of Dr. W. B. Hunter as
Registrar of Vital Statistics, in the county by the Mate Board of Health was
approved.
