The Board ordered a refund of $12,84 to Mrs. Janie S. Colville on
account of error in listing 1957 Chevrolet car which was listed in 1961
by mistake to Fred Stone and also to Willie Colville. Taxes were paid by

The Board ordered that Tom Glasby, Superintendent of Courthouse and
Grounds be paid $ 10.00 a week additional duties for janitolial service
in ASO office.
Representatives of Moore Gardner and Associates aooeared before
Board and presented plans forthe paying of the Parking Area on the
Courthouse square.

Commissioner Byrd moved, seconded by Commission Barefoot, that the
following Resolution be adopted;
Interim Appropriation Resolution
Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County:
Section 1: That in order to operate the county and its subdivision
from July 1st. 1962, to the date of the adoption of the 1962 -63
Budget Resolution. appropriations are hereby m< de for the purpose
of paying salaries, the principal and interest on indebtedness, and
the usual ordinary expenses of the county and its subdivision at
the same rate of expenditure as provided for in the budget for the
1961 -62 fiscal year. This resolution shall cease to be effective from
and after the adoption of the 1962 -63 Budget Resolution and all expen-
ditures made in accordance with this resolution shall be chargeable
to appropriations made in the 1962 -63 Budget Resolution.
Adopted this the 2nd. day of July. 1962.

with Commissioner Alex Cameron , Commissioner Worth Lee Byrd, Commissioner
A. C. Barefoot and Commissioner W A Warren the following business was
transacted by the Harnett County Board of Commission rs
Due to the deficit existing in the Harnett County
A P T D Fund Commissioner Byrd made the following
motion seconded by Commissioner Warren. that $6,000.00
be transferred from the Harnett County 0 A A Fund to
the Harnett County A P T D Fund.
