Tart, Chairman. and Commissioners Worth Lee Byrd. W. A. Warren, Alex Cameron, present, Commissioner Joe Curran being absent. Also present were theAuditor and the Clerk to Board. W. A. V. Evans since it appers that taxes and cost have been paid in full. Motion carried. Commissioner Warren moved, seconded by Commissioner Byrd that Harnett County Sheriff and the Rural Policemen be allowed actual mileage at rate of 1(4 per mile for transporting prisoners to and from Harnett County Court House to the point of destination. Motion carried. Board ordered that County Offices be closed at end of business Dec. 23rd. and reopen on Monday Dec. 28th. and remain open to end of business on Thursday Dec. 31, and reopen Monday January 4th. for the Christmas and New Year.
