SEPTEMBER'2nd. 1958
The Board. of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday September 2nd.
1958 at 1D:00 A M. with all members present with the exception of Joe Currin
who was absent. Also present were the County Attorney the Auditor and the Clerk
to Board.

Commissioner J. E. Womble moved, seconded by Commissioner Cameron that all
County enpioyees with exception of elected officers be placed under blanket
bond as of December 1st. Motion carried.
The following Road Petition was approved:
(1) To grade and sand clay that road in Barbecue Township which runs from
the Olivia- Benhaven School Road to Highway No. 87 and known as the 'Barbecue Road.

You are hereby authorized, empowered and commanded to collect the taxes set
forth in the tax books filed in the office of the Harnett County Tax Supervisor
and in the receipts herewith delivered to you, and in the amount and from the tax-
payers therein set forth, ( and also, all other taxpayers and taxes represented
by official tax. receipts for yeaas'other than the current year) and such taxes
are hereby declared to be a first lien on all real property of the 'respective
taxpayers in Harnett County and this order shall be_.a full and sufficient authority
to direct, require and enable you to levy on and sell any real or personal property
of said taxpayers, for and on account thereof in accordance with law.
