THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, Net in regular session on Monday, July lst., 1957
at 10:00. A.M., with all members present.
Also present were the County Attorney, the Auditor, and the Clerk to the Board.
The °report of Elizabeth F. Matthews, Clerk Superior Court was approved and
filed.
The report of D. P. Ray, Tax Collector, was approved and filed.
The report of Inez Harrington, Register of Deeds, was approved and filed.
The report of Kyle Harrington, Clerk Recorders Court, was approved and filed.
The report of L. B. McLean, Veteran Service 0fficer,>was approved and filed.
The report of Earl G. Wells, Dog Warden, was approved.
The report of Roy Godwin, Electrical Inspector, was approved and filed.
The following road petitions were filed:
t]J To hyd surface that road in Averasboro Township, which runs
from Sallie Stewart s home to Mary Stewart School, a distance of 5/10 miles.

(2) To hard surface that road in Averasboro Township, sbich runs
from new 301 near H. A. Weeks home to Carl Stewart (Sallie Stewart old home
place a distance of 1.8 miles.

to the office of Constable in and for the County of Harnett, State of North
Carolina for the term beginning on the 3rd. day of June, 1957, and ending on
the 3rd. day of June, 1958.
MOW, THEREFORE, THE 'CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, that if the
above. bounden Sherwood W. Gregory, shall during the aforesaid term, faithfully and
truly perform all the duties of his office and shall pay over and account for all
funds coming into his hands by virtue of his said office of Constable as re-
quired by law, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to be and remain in full
force and virtue.
