The Clerk to the Board was also present. Chairman Brock called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of this meeting was to appoint a County Attorney and also to appoint a Tax Lien Attorney and a Welfare Lien Attorney. Wiley r. Bowen, Attorney, Dunn, N C. was nominated and unanimously appointed County Attorney to serve until December 1st. 1967, at a starting salary of $275.00 per month. The duties to be assigned at a later date. E. Marshall Woodall, Attorney, Lillington, N. C. was nominated and unanimously appointed County Tax Lien Attorney and Welfare Lien Attorney to serve until December 1st. 1967. The duties to be assigned at a later date. The meeting. recessed.
