Also present were the County Attorney, the. and the Clerk to the Board. Chairman Cameron called the meeting to order and introduced Reverend J. W. Davis,. Pastor of Morris Chapel Methodist Church, who offered the invocation. The Following reports of the various officers of the County were approved and placed on file: D. P. The resignation was accepted with regret. Commissioner Byrd moved, seconded by Commissioner Barefoot -, that Perry L. Cameron, of Barbecue Twp. be and he is hereby appointed as an Electrical inspector to serve Harnett County west of Highway # 210 and south of Cape Fear Ri,yer. This appointment to begin as soon as he qualified and to serve at the pleasure of the Board. INTERIM APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HARNETT COUNTY`' Section 1. That in order to operate the county and its sub divisions from July 1, 1964, to the date of the adoption of the', 1964 -65 Budget Resolution, appropriations are hereby made for the purpose of paying salaries, the principal and interest on indebtedness, and the usual ordinary expenses of the county and its subdivisions at the same rate of expenditure as provided for in the budget for the 1964 -65 fiscal year. This resolution shall cease to be effective from and after the adoption of the 1964 -65 Budget Resolution, and all expenditures made in accordance with this resolution shall be chargeable to appropriations made in the 1964 -65 Budget Resolution.
