HomeMy WebLinkAbout02031964183 February 3rd. 1964 TheBoard of Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, February 3rd., 1964, at 10:00 A.M. with all members present. Also present were the County Attorney, the Auditor and the Clerk to the Board. Rev. Don Bowen, pastor of the Lillington Baptist Church, offered the in- vocation at the meeting. Stewart Clerk Superior Court Tax Collector Register of Deeds Clerk Recorders Court Veterans Service Officer County Electrical Inspector u n n Sheriff The Board ordered that $ 23.07 be refunded to Mrs. N. T. McLean, owner of McLean Grocery and Service, Angier, Rt. 1 (on property valued at $1365.00) on account of error in double listing for the year 1963. Check to be made to Raleigh Savings and Loan Assocition, Fuquay Springs, N.C. The Board ordered that $6.84 be refunded to Mrs. E. W. Williams 1808 Erwin Road, Dunn, N. C. for 5 acres of Jackson land, on account of error in double listing. Commissioner Byerly moved, seconded by Commissioner Byrd, that Perry L Cameron be and he is hereby appointed Electrical Inspector for Harnett County to serve at the pleasure of the Board and subject to approval of State Board of Electrical Contractors. Motion carried. The Following Road Petitions were approved: (1) To pull up that road and add to State System in Johnsonville Township, on the line of Moore and Harnett County a distance of 3/10 mile. Petition mailed. (2) To add to State System that road in Averasboro Township, which leaves Road 1805 north of Jonesboro Road and which is 2/10 miles in distance. Petition mailed.
