Principal shell faithfully perform such duties as may be imposed on him by law
and shall honestly account for all money that may come into his-own hands in his
official capacity- during the said term, then this obligation shall be void; other-
wise it shall remain in force.

WHEREAS, the paving and improving of secondary roadsis essential to the
progress of a progressive county and state and will add untold benefits to the
people of the county and state
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
HARNETT COUNTY that-it does recommend to the members of the General Assembly that
they support legislation to prevent the diversion and expenditure of Highway
Revenue for purposes other than roads;
AND FURTHER that the members of tie General Assembly be and they are
hereby requested to support legislation for the improvement of the secondary
road program through a bond issue in such an amount as can be reconciled with
the economy of the state;
AND FURTHER that o copy ofthis resolution be forwarded to Senator Morgan
and Senator Sanders and Representative Mabe.
Commissioner Cameron offered the foregoing resolution and moved its adoption,
the motion was seconded by Commissioner Barefoot and unanimously adopted.
