C. 28339 Dear Mr. Brock: May 9th. 1967 Re: Account Rendered You will recall that on the night my resignation was accepted that you, in the presence of the majority of the Board, approved a number of bills that I submitted and you further instructed the auditor to issue the County's check for my retainer's fee for the month of March. I have heard nothing from either you or the Board with respect to these items since that date. I would appreciate it if you would advise me immediately what action, if any, the Board has taken on the above statements. Yours very truly, Neill MoK. Ross Commissioner McLamb moved seconded by Commissioner Womble, that the payments of any bills rendered by Neill McK. Ross, former County Attorney, be with- held while the controversy in which he is involved is in process. Motion carried Commissioner Cotton moved seconded by Commissioner McLamb, that Harnett County be declared a disaster area due to rain, hail and wind on May 12th. Commissioner Womble is hereby authorized to work with C. R. Ammons, Harnett Farm Agent, in confering with Congressman Dave Henderson in this matter. Motion carried Commissioner McLamb moved seconded by Commissioner Womble, that t Harnett County depository be drawn from the Bank of Lillington and the Southern National Bank of Lillington be the depository for the County Tax Collector effective on July 1st. 1967, and the account Harnett Agri - Business Commission be removed from the Southern Nati Bank and deposited in the First National Bank of Eastern North Car Dunn, N. C.
