PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGE, NOVEMBER 21, 1988
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing concerning
proposed change to the Harnett County Zoning Ordinance on November 21, 1988,
at the County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following
members present: Bill Shaw, Rudy Collins, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and
Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were: Dallas H. Pope,
County Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to
the Board; and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary.
CALL TO ORDER Chairman Stewart call the public hearing to order at 7:45 p.m.

Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, provided background information concerning th
proposed changes to the Harnett County Zoning Ordinance and stated that the
purpose of the public hearing was to allow the public to comment concerning
the proposed changes to the Harnett County Zoning Ordinance.
Chairman Stewart opened the hearing for public comments.
No comments were provided from citizens.
Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing at 7:50 p.m.
