PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, APRIL 18, 1988
CALL TO ORDER
PURPOSE OF PUB.
HEARING
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing regarding
changes to Harnett County's Subdivision Regulations on April 18, 1988, in the
County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members
present: Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman
Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were: Dallas H. Pope, County
Manager; Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board,
and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary.
Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7 p.m.
Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, briefed the group that the purpose of the
public hearing was to allow the public to comment concerning the proposed
amendments to Harnett County's Subdivision Regulations.
REASON FOR AMEND, Carla Stephens, Planner /Developer, explained the reason for each proposed
amendment.
Rodney Tart, Director, Public Utilities, stated that he supported the proposed
amendments to the subdivision regulations.
Timothy McKinnie, Member of Metro Water District Board, stated that the Metro
Water District Board supported the subdivision regulations.
OPEN FOR COMMENTS chairman Stewart opened the hearing for public comments.
No comments were provided from citizens.
CLOSED PUB. HEAR. Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing at 7:20 p.m.
