HomeMy WebLinkAbout06011987 (4)29j PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING RELOCATION OF TOWNSHIP LINE BETWEEN AVERASBORO AND DUKE, JUNE 15, 1987 ALL TO ORDER On June 15, 1987, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing concerning the relocation of township line between Averasboro and Duke townships with the following members present: Bill Shaw, Rudy Collins, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present included: Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; Glenn Johnson, County Attorney, and Kay Blanchard, Recording Secretary. Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. PURPOSE Glenn Johnson, County Attorney, explained the purpose of the public hearing was to entertain comments from the public regarding the relocation of the township line between Averasboro and Duke townships. UBLIC COMMENTS Chairman Stewart opened the meeting for public comments. Richard Hicks, Town Manager of Erwin, stated that he supported the relocation of the township line. UB. HEAR.
