HomeMy WebLinkAbout05041987274 PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY, MAY 4, 1987 On May 4, 1987, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing concerning Riverside Community Development Block Grant Project with the following persons present: Bill Shaw, Rudy Collins, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present included: Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; Glenn Johnson, County Attorney and Kay Blanchard, Recording Secretary. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 9:00 a.m. PURPOSE Skip Green, Grants Consultant, appeared before the Board and explained the purpose of the public hearing stating that an amendment was needed to the Community Develop- ment Block Grant original dated April 17, 1985. The amendment application is for Riverside Water Improvements in the amount of $528,400. Local Option Activities amount is $128,000 making a total of $656,400. PUBLIC COMMENTS Chairman Stewart opened the meeting for public comments, pro or con regarding this matter. No one came forward to speak pro or con.
