HomeMy WebLinkAbout06191989453 PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING F.Y. 89 -90 BUDGET, JUNE 19, 1989 ALL TO ORDER LNVOCATION PURPOSE PUBLIC COMMENTS ADJOURNMENT The Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing concerning proposed F.Y. 89 -90 Budget on June 19, 1989, in the County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members present: Bill Shaw, Rudy Collins, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary. Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7 p.m. Commissioner Bill Shaw offered the invocation. Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, briefed the group that the purpose of the public hearing was to allow the public to comment concerning the proposed Budget for Harnett County F.Y. 89 -90. Chairman Stewart opened the hearing for public comments. The following citizens provided comments concerning the proposed budget. 1. Ron Papik, Anderson Creek area 2.
