On April 17, 1989, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public
hearing concerning proposed Transportation Development Plan Application in the
County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members
present: Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman
Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were: Dallas H. Pope, County
Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the
Board; and Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary.
Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7 p.m.
Commissioner Hudson offered the invocation.
Jerry Blanchard, Director, Transportation and Procurement, briefed the group
that the purpose of the public hearing was to allow the public to comment
concerning the proposed Transportation Development Plan Application.
Chairman Stewart opened the meeting for public comments.
No comments were offered.
There being no further business, Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing at
7:10 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGE, APRIL 17, 1989
On April 17, 1989, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public
hearing concerning proposed Zoning Ordinance text change in the County Office
Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members present:
Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G.
Stewart presiding. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; W.
Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; and Kay
S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary.
CALL TO ORDER Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7:10 p.m.
PURPOSE
Greg Wilder, County Planner, briefed the group that the purposed of the public
hearing was to allow the public to comment concerning the proposed Zoning
Ordinance text change.
COMMENTS Chairman Stewart opened the meeting for public comments.
No comments were offered.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing at
7:15 p.m.

Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members
