HomeMy WebLinkAbout02201989PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING ESTABLISHMENT OF PROPOSED DUNN- AVERASBORO AMBULANCE $ RESCUE SERVICE DISTRICT, FEBRUARY 20, 1989 CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION PURPOSE OPENED FOR COMENTS CLOSED PUBLIC HEARING The Harnett County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing concerning establishment of proposed Dunn - Averasboro Ambulance and Rescue Service Dis- trict on February 20, 1989, at the County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members present: Rudy Collins, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson, Mayo Smith, and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Others present were: Dallas H. Pope, County Manager; W. Glenn Johnson, County Attorney; Vanessa W. Young, Clerk to the Board; and Kay S. Blanchard, Re- cording Secretary. Chairman Stewart called the public hearing to order at 7 p.m. Commissioner Hudson offered the invocation. Attorney Johnson Tilghman provided comments concerning the proposed Dunn - Averasboro Ambulance and Rescue Service District and stated that the purpose of the public hearing was to allow the public to comment concerning the proposed district. Chairman Stewart opened the meeting for public comments. No comments were provided from citizens. Chairman Stewart closed the public hearing at 7:15.
