Reason/Justification for Variance: (attach additional sheets if necessary)
Asking for a variance from the 10' setback off public
ROW for the Central Harnett Hospital sign at the Emergency Entrance off Amber Leaf Trail. The stormwater pond collects a large portion of the site drainage for capiture and treatment
as required by the local and state stormwater regulation. The sign is currently located to minimize impact to the stormwater retention pond slopes while being the maximum distance off
the public ROW. The current sign location is vital to the way finding of the public to the hospital's emergency entrance.

Findings of Fact (The Board of Adjustment will evaluate the application to ensure the following provisions are fulfilled)
There are extraordinary and exceptional conditions pertaining
to the particular piece of property in question because of its size, shape or topography that are not applicable to other lands or structures in the same district.
Granting the variance
requested will not confer upon the applicant any special privileges that are denied to other residents of the district in which the property is located.
A literal interpretation of
the provisions of the Ordinance would deprive the applicant of rights commonly enjoyed by other residents of the district in which the property is located.
The requested variance will
be in harmony with the purpose and intent of this Ordinance and will not be injurious to the neighborhood or to the general welfare.
The special circumstances are not the result of
the actions of the applicant.
The variance requested is the minimum variance that will make possible the legal use of the land, building or structure.
