SHORT TERM:
-The water services for the proposed townhomes should be shown on the plans. HCDPU would prefer the meters to be in clusters
for each series of Townhomes.
-If additional services are to be installed the existing services must be abandoned at the corporation stop.
-There should be at minimum 6inch laterals
shown for each building. NCDENR DWQ requires that a 6inch lateral only serve one building.
-Profile views must be submitted to show proper separation between the existing water main
and proposed force main.
-The capacity fees for the proposed development must be paid prior to services being installed or permitting with NCDENR by HCDPU.
-HCDPU must receive utility
construction drawings to review and approve prior to site plan approval.
-A NCDOT Encroachment agreement must be issued prior to construction of utilities by a private contractor.
