HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe Fox RunAmanda,
I will do a 10, 25 and 100 year calculation and send that to you.
Thanks for your help;
John

Can you please send photos of the existing drainage way and perform a channel analysis to demonstrate that the drainage from Fox Run has no adverse effect on adjacent properties for
the 100 year storm.
I do not think the drainage way exists anymore. You can pipe through Trotter’s Ridge with the appropriate drainage easement.

Amanda;
The storm water released from Fox Run is allowed to run overland along the existing drainage way. We are not allowed to pipe across someone else's property. I have sized the Trotters
Ridge pipes to handle the future development of Fox Run.
Please advise if I am not understanding your concerns and I will make sure we address it.
Thanks;
John

How are you going to get the flow from Fox Run to the storm drainage in Trotters Ridge? It will require a conveyance system. It appears you will need to pipe the water through a drainage
easement to connect to the drainage system in Trotters Ridge.

Amanda;
we will provide you with our calculations for the trotters Ridge storm systems downstream from Fox run. this will show you that we have accounted for the increase in flow. I have
already left the office but I will pull up those calculations tomorrow and get them to you by afternoon. it may be late but I will get it to you.
Thanks

John –
The increase in stormwater runoff for the 10 year storm is 29% and the increase in stormwater runoff for the 25 year storm is 35%. This is more than the 10% threshold referenced
in the ordinance.
A downstream analysis must be provided. You must demonstrate the adequacy of conveyance structures downstream of the discharge points. How are you going to route the runoff from
Fox Run through Trotter’s Ridge into its storm conveyance system?
Thanks
Amanda

Jay;
The attached is a copy of the Final DRB comments. I have provided responses in blue for the short range comments. The Long Range comments will be addressed at the Construction Plan
stage. I will be bringing the plans to you in the morning after I vote, but wanted you to get these responses as soon as possible. I think we have all our ducks in a row.
Amanda;
I am including a Storm water Statement report for you to review. Please let me know if you have any concerns. Please also note that I did the design for both this (Fox Run) and the
adjacent subdivision, Trotters Ridge. We did account for the fully developed upstream conditions of Fox Run when we did the storm water design on Trotters Ridge. Therefore there are
no adverse affects of this project on the downstream development. There are no other structures within the lower basin down to the 10% point.
Thanks;
John
