HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010/01/04 RESOLUTION HARNETT COUNTY RESTRICTION ON FUTURE WATER/SEWER SERVICE TO PROTECT JURISDICTIONAL FRESHWATER WETLAND(S) FEMA 100 DESIGNATED FLOODPLAIN PRIME FARMLAND OR ENDANGERED OR THREATENED SPECIES HABITATHarnett County Restriction on Future Water /Sewer Service to Protect Jurisdictional Freshwater Wetland(s), FEMA 100 Designated Floodplain, Prime Farmland or Endangered or Threatened Species Habitat Harnett County agrees to meet Economic Development Administration (EDA), U.S. Department of Commerce Investment Number 04 -01 -06174 Special Conditions EXHIBIT "A ", Number 12. Through this resolution Harnett County adopts the following restrictive covenant that permanently restrict tap -ons of water and sewer service from any EDA funded facilities to any new development within: • any Jurisdictional Freshwater Wetland(s) hereby defined in accordance with the US Army Corps of Engineers Manual for the identification of wetlands, • a Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) designated 100 year floodplain, • USDA designated prime farmland, and /or • the habitat of a U.S. Fish and Wildlife designated Endangered or Threatened Species.
