BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County, North Carolina, sitting as the
governing board for Harnett County.
Section 1. This project will consist of approximately 6,500 linear feet of 24" gravity sewer line
construction. This is a joint project with the Town of Angier as this line will serve as the
Town's connection to our existing Neill's Creek Wastewater Interceptor. The Town will
manage the design and construction of this project and HCDPU will contribute 50% of the
necessary revenues. HCDPU will own and maintain this gravity line per an existing contract
with the Town of Angier once construction is complete.
Section 2. This portion of the project will be funded with Public Utility funds.
Section 3. The following amounts are hereby appropriated for this project:

Section 4. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to complete this project:
Interfund Transfer — Public Utilities $ L121,032
Section 5. The Finance Officer is hereby directed to maintain within the NE WW Extension Project,
sufficient specific detailed accounting records.
Section 6. Funds may be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose of making payments as due.
Section 7. The Finance Officer is directed to report, on a quarterly basis, on the financial status of each
project element in Section 3.
Section 8. The Budget Officer is directed to include a detailed analysis of past and future costs and
revenues on this capital project in every budget submission made to this Board.
Section 9. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to the Clerk to the Governing
Board, and to the Budget Officer and the Finance Officer for direction in carrying out this
project.
