HomeMy WebLinkAbout07.01.10 DRB MINUTES DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD MINUTES County Administration Building 102 East Front Street Lillington, NC 27546 January 10, 2007 Public Hearing BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT : Mark Locklear, Planning Department; Clint Williams, E-911 Addressing Department; Brian McSwain, Environmental Health; Tim Payseur, Public Utilities; T J McLamb, Fire Marshall OTHERS PRESENT: Joseph Jeffries, Director of Planning; Jennifer Slusser, Staff Attorney; Steve Tugwell, Senior Planner; Christie Barthelme, Planner II; Samantha Ficzko, Planner, Theresa Jones, Recording Secretary; Tammy Ward, E-911; Jimmy Riddle, Fire Marshal I.CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. II.WELCOME: Mark Locklear, Manager of Planning Services opened the meeting by explaining how the Development Review Board process works. III.NEW BUSINESS A.060-018 – MAJOR SUBDIVISON PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT STAGECREST. Fleet Temple represented the application and discussions were made by the board. Decision: Environmental Health approved the plat as presented. E- 911; Fire Marshall; Planning; and Public Utilities approved the plat with conditions. B.060-019 – MAJOR SUBDIVISON PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT OAKMONT. There was no one present to represent the application. There was board discussion. Decision: E-911 and Environmental Health voted to approve the plat. Fire Marshall and Public Utilities voted to approve with conditions and Planning Department voted to place on the plat hold. The plat was then placed on hold. C.060-020- MAJOR SUBDIVISION PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT OLD FARM VILLAGE. There was no one there to represent the application. The board had discussions. Decision: E-911; Fire Marshall; Public Utilities approved the plat with conditions. Environmental Health and Planning placed the plat on hold. The plat was then placed on hold. D.060-021- MAJOR SUBDIVISON PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT ROSEMONT MASTER PLAN & PHASE 2. Pat Schillington represented the application. The board had discussions. Decision: E-911 and Environmental Health approved the plat. Fire Marshall and Public Utilities approved the plat with conditions and Planning Department placed the plat on hold. The plat was placed on hold. E.060-022- MAJOR SUBDIVISON PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT THE MEADOWS @ BUIES CREEK PHASES 8,9,10. There was no one there to represent the application. The board had discussions. Decision: E-911; Environmental Health approved the plat. Fire Marshall; Planning and Public Utilities approved the plat with conditions. F.060-023- MAJOR SUBDIVISION PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT COTTON FARMS. Ben Dewar represented the application. The board had discussions. Decision: Environmental Health approved the plat. E-911; Planning; Fire Marshall and Public Utilities approved the plat with conditions. G.060-024- MAJOR SUBDIVISON PRELIMINARY PLAN/PLAT BALLARD WOODS. Mickey Bennett represented the application. The board had discussions. Decision: E-911; Environmental Health and Public Utilities approved the plat. Planning and Fire Marshall approved with conditions. IV.OLD BUSINESS. NONE V.PENDING. NONE VI.OTHER BUSINESS. NONE VII.ADJOURNMENT.
