McLamb; Glenn McFadden; Jennifer Slusser; Mark Locklear; Joseph Jeffries Subject: RE: The Gate @ Lexington Samantha,   The sewer lift station that will serve the Gate at Lexington – Part A1 will not be completed for several months and the Pump and Haul Permit will provide means for transfer of the wastewater from the site to a treatment plant until the sewer lift station improvements can be completed.  Public Utilities is waiting on a revised application for the Pump and Haul permit that designates a private septage hauler instead of Harnett County as the hauler and the designated dumping location as the North Harnett Regional WWTP instead of Cooper’s Ranch WWTP.    In addition, I have received a copy of a performance bond to cover the proposed sewer lift station improvements that will serve this subdivision.  The Pump and Haul application and the performance bond must be approved by my supervisor, Glen McFadden.  I have passed along a copy of a performance bond to Glenn McFadden and he is to review with this performance bond with Jennifer Slusser, County Attorney before Public Utilities can release the final plat.  I will let you know as soon as I can when these items have been satisfied so that Public Utilities can sign off on the final plat for the Gate at Lexington – Part A1.  It is imperative that these items be completed and approved by others above me before Public Utilities can approve the final plat.    If a new version of the final plat will be submitted then email a copy to everyone so that we have the latest version to review.  If the final plat on file is updated, then Public Utilities will need to check the final plat to assure that it has the same number of lots as the As-Built Record Drawings, not to exceed 163 lots.   As a side note, HCDPU promised Mr. Pierce (developer of Lexington Plantation) to allow him to have 100 – 200 lots ready before the South Harnett Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant was constructed and operational, but the remainder of the development would have to wait for this new WWTP to be operational before Harnett County could handle the additional sewer flow.  The South Harnett Regional WWTP is under construction and we hope to have it operational by mid year 2009 or early in 2010 at the latest.  Harnett County has allowed Mr. Pierce to record the final plat for Village of Lexington – Part 1 with 73 lots and when the final plat for Gate at Lexington – Part A1 is recorded, then that will give Mr. Pierce more than 200 lots in 2007 - 2008.  In order to assist Mr. Pierce with continued development until Harnett County can complete planned sewer improvements, HCDPU is willing to allow the engineer to acquire NCDENR permits for construction of additional phases.  But, the final plats for the additional phases cannot be approved for recording until Harnett County has completed planned sewer improvements in South Central Harnett County.   Call me if you need to discuss this.   Regards,  Tim ============================== Tim Payseur, Senior Engineering Technician Harnett County Department of Public Utilities 308 West Duncan Street P O Box 1119 Lillington, NC  27546-1119 Phone: (910) 893-7575, ext 3275 Fax: (910) 814-4024 E-mail: tpayseur@harnett.org www.harnett.org ==============================   file://C:\Documents and Settings\subdivision\Local Settings\Temp\ELF3D8\PU Revision D...4/6/2009 Page 2 of 3 Water Use It Wisely          -----Original Message----- From: Tammy Ward Sent: Monday, February 11, 2008 3:02 PM To: Lisa; Teddy J. I have not received a message from them stating that have rec’d an updated map and I am not finding one in the DRB file on the server.
