Re: Lexington Plantation/Richmond Park
Samantha,
40' R/W width is acceptable for a non-collector subdivision roadway using curb and gutter. In a
shoulder section (no c&g), the minimum R/W width would be 45' for the same roadway. The roads
referenced in your first email are not currently on the state system. All they lack are proper stop sign
posts. When they are installed, we will add the roads. The developer is aware of the problem.
Thanks,
David

I have a follow up question to that. Will you guys allow roads within this phase of development to have a 40’
right-of-way?
Thanks and have a great day!

Good morning,
The developer of Lexington Plantation has applied for final subdivision approval of their first phase
RichmondPark, on Scranton
of development. The phase they want to get approved is accessed via
Court. The information for Lexington Plantation was submitted to your office from Theresa
Jones, our clerk for the DRB. I attached a copy of the map for you. We need to know if the
roads in RichmondPark leading up to this subdivision have been taken over by DOT prior to
granting approval.
Samantha
