Public water is available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: The new water lines installed in Section 7 have been inspected and tested per Harnett
County Department of Public Utilities (HCDPU) requirements; however, the final inspection has not been
completed yet. The professional engineer has not submitted the As-Built Record Drawings, PE
Certification
and Cost Statement to HCDPU in accordance with the established Approval Process for New Water Line
Extensions as outlined on the Harnett County website www.harnett.org under the Public Utilities page.
The Developer and Contractor must provide HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty on the new sewer lines
that serve this phase of the subdivision once approved by HCDPU. The Developer and Contractor must

subdivision once approved by HCDPU and NCDENR-PWSS.
NOTE: HCDPU provides this information as a curteousy to the developer and professional engineer for
design purposes. However, HCDPU cannot be held liable for errors, mistakes, ommissions, and
inaccurate
information provided through this preliminary and/or final plat approval process. It is therefore
recommended that the professional engineer or developer "field verify" the information provided by
HCDPU.
Sewer
Public sewer is available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: The new eight (8") inch sewer collection lines, the sewer force main and the sewer lift
station
installed in Section 7 have been inspected and tested per Harnett County Department of Public Utilities
(HCDPU) requirements; however, the final inspection has not been completed yet. The Professional
Engineer (PE) has not submitted the As-Built Record Drawings, PE Certification and Cost Statement to
HCDPU in accordance with the established Approval Process for New Sewer Line Extensions as outlined

CONDITIONS:
SHORT TERM:
1. HCDPU must complete the final inspections and testing of the water and sewer line extensions
installed to serve Overhills Creek - Section 7.
2. HCDPU must complete the draw down test of the sewer lift station that was installed to serve
Overhills Creek - Section 7.
3. The access roads to the sewer lift stations in Section 6 - Part 2 and in Section 7 must be provided
with means for drainage and ersosion control as these access roads do not meet HCDPU requirements.
4. The SCADA system must be installed on the sewer lift station in Overhills Creek - Section 7 before
this system can be accepted by HCDPU.
5. The Professional Engineer (PE) must submit the As-Built Record Drawings, PE Certification and
Cost Statement to HCDPU for the new water and sewer collection lines installed in this phase of the
subdivision.
6. Final Approval must be issued by NCDENR-PWSS for the new water lines before any meters may
be
installed in Section 7 of Overhills Creek.
7. Final Approval must be issued by NCDENR-DWQ for the new sewer lines and the sewer lift station
before any meters may be installed in Section 7 of Overhills Creek.
LONGE RANGE:
1. The Developer must provide HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty on the new water lines and sewer
collection lines and associated appurtenances that serve this subdivision once approved by HCDPU and
NCDENR.
