SHORT TERM CONDITIONS, COMMENTS, OR JUSTIFICATIONS
The following conditions are to be rectified prior to obtaining DRB signature and are subject to change during the course of the
meeting.
Planning Department: ENSURE THAT ALL PROPER CERTIFICATIONS ARE SIGNED
Fire Mashal: RECOMMENDATION FOR 8" LINE AND FIRE HYDRANT LOCATIONS TO BE VERIFIED ON
SUBMITTAL TO PUBLIC UTILITIES.
Public Utilities: The Professional Engineer (PE) must submit a Master Development Plan to HCDPU before HCDPU
will review or approve the Utility Plans for Phase 3.
Public Utilities: The Professional Engineer (PE) must revise the As-Built Record Drawings for Phase 1 to correct a
known error before HCDPU will review or approve the Utility Plans for Phase 3.
Public Utilities: The Professional Engineer (PE) must submit a complete fire flow analysis for the entire
development of Phases 1, 2 & 3 of Patton's Point along with any other phases which may be
planned for the future using the existing six (6") inch water line along Tingen Road and Fifty
Caliber Drive.

LONG RANGE CONDITIONS
The following conditions must be satisfied
Public Utilities: The Professional Engineer (PE) must submit three (3) sets of utility plans for Phase 3, an
engineer's report, and project specifications to HCDPU for review and subsequent approval.
Public Utilities: HCDPU must complete the final inspections and testing of the water line extensions installed to
serve this subdivision.
Public Utilities: The Professional Engineer (PE) must submit the As-Built Record Drawings, PE Certification and
Cost Statement to HCDPU for the new water and sewer collection lines installed in this
subdivision.
Public Utilities: The Developer must provide HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty on the new water lines and the
associated appurtenances that serve this subdivision once approved by HCDPU and NCDENR.

If APPROVED, your signed plat/plan may be picked up at the Planning Department or will be mailed to you the next business
day.
If APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS, you must submit 5 copies of the plat/plan showing that all items listed under Short Term
Conditions have been rectified.
If HELD, you must submit 10 copies of the plat/plan showing that all items listed under Short Term Conditions have been
rectified.
If DENIED, you may appeal the Board’s Decision to the Harnett County Planning Board within 30 days or meet with Planning
Staff to discuss other potential options.
