LONG RANGE CONDITIONS
The following conditions must be satisfied
Public Utilities: THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER MUST SUBMIT THREE SETS OF UTILITY PLANS, ENGINEER'S
REPORT, AND PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS TO HCDPU FOR REVIEW AND SUBSEQUENT APPROVAL.
THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER MUST SUBMIT REVISED AS-BUILT RECORD DRAWINGS FOR
PHASE 2 THAT MATCHES THE LAYOUT OF LOTS AND STREETS AS SHOWN IN THE RECORDED
PLAT FOR PHASE 2. THE UTILITY PLANS FOR THE NEW WATER LINES PROPOSED FOR PHASES 3
& 4 MUST PROPERLY ALIGN WITH THE REVISED AS-BUILT RECORD DRAWINGS FOR PHASE 2.
Public Utilities: THE PLANS AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS MUST BE APPROVED BY NCDENR-PWSS AND ALL
PERMITS ISSUED FOR THE UTILITY SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. ONCE
THE STATE HAS ISSUED ALL THE NECESSARY NCDENR PERMITS FOR WATER, EROSION
CONTROL AS WELL AS THE EXECUTION OF THE THREE PARTY NCDOT ENCROACHMENT
AGREEMENT, THEN THE UTILITY CONTRACTOR AND PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER MUST SCHEDULE
A PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH HCDPU PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF SAID UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS.

If APPROVED, your signed plat/plan may be picked up at the Planning Department or will be mailed to you the next business
day.
If APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS, you must submit 5 copies of the plat/plan showing that all items listed under Short Term
Conditions have been rectified.
If HELD, you must submit 10 copies of the plat/plan showing that all items listed under Short Term Conditions have been
rectified.
If DENIED, you may appeal the Board’s Decision to the Harnett County Planning Board within 30 days or meet with Planning
Staff to discuss other potential options.
