SHORT TERM CONDITIONS, COMMENTS, OR JUSTIFICATIONS
The following conditions are to be rectified prior to obtaining DRB signature and are subject to change during the course of the
meeting.
Not sure of final road widths due to not being paved

The Utility Contractor must schedule the final inspection with
Public Utilities (910)893-7575:
HCDPU on the water lines in Phase 3. The inspection must be

completed with satisfactory results before the final plat for
Phase 3 may be approved and the final plat released for
recordation.
The water lines for this development must be approved by
HCDPU and NCDENR before the water meters may be issued
to the lots in Phase 3. The water lines were not installed for
Phase 4 and the final plat should not include Phase 4 until the
water lines have been permitted by NCDENR, installed,
inspected and approved for Phase 4. This conditional
approval applies to Phase 3 only.
The developer must provide HCDPU with a Cost Statement for
the water system improvements installed to serve Phase 3.
The PE must submit an Engineer’s Certification for the water
system installed to serve Phase 3.

The following conditions must be satisfied

on the water lines installed to serve this development.

without the required NCDENR permits and NCDOT

If APPROVED, your signed plat/plan may be picked up at the Planning Department or will be mailed to you within two (2)
business days.
If APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS, you must submit 5 copies of the plat/plan to the Planning Department showing that all
items listed under Short Term Conditions have been rectified. Please be aware that review will not be done while you wait,
as all DRB members will have to review the plat/plan for compliance.
If HELD, you must submit 5 copies of the plat/plan showing that all items listed under Short Term Conditions have been
rectified. To attend the next DRB meeting, revised plat/plans must be submitted by noon on Friday following the meeting
the application was put on hold.
If DENIED, you may appeal the Board’s Decision to the Harnett County Planning Board within 30 days or meet with
Planning Staff to discuss other potential options.
