REQUEST
The applicant is requesting preliminary approval for a Planned Unit Development (PUD).
This development will have three open space areas totaling 24.7 acres, minimum area
required is 12.4 acres. According to the Land Use Plan, this area is projected to be a
Compact Mixed Use area.
The BOA approved the conditional use permit for this proposal on October 10 with the
following recommends: 1)Melody Ln be brought up to NCDOT standards, 2)proposed
development dependent upon proposed sanitary sewer system, 3)Explore the possibility
for another entrance.
