Box 1890 Wilmington, NC 28402 Re: Carolina Lakes Block T, Corps Action ID # SAW-2006-41496-043 Dear Mr. Smith: I’m writing you on behalf of the Harnett County Planning Department in regards to the proposed development of Carolina Lakes Block T. It is our understanding that your office is currently reviewing this site for potential reclamation of wetlands. Our office has received several letters from concerned citizens in this area and therefore we would like to formally request that a public hearing be held between your office and the citizens of Carolina Lakes. It is our contention that a public hearing is necessary to ensure that the residents in this area have all their concerns regarding this project addressed and we feel that a public hearing would provide the proper venue for that to take place.
